Hi, I’m Nathan. I study computer science at Georgia Tech, do computer vision research in the Contextual Computing Group, and lead a team in the iOS Club.

Lately I’ve been building tools for teams working with coding agents, like , and mobile apps like SideQuest and Pushup Pal.

Alto

Helps software teams work together with coding agents on shared project environments — setup, access control, agent conversations, terminals, and handoffs in one workflow.

My contribution

  • Organization authentication with Better Auth and SQLite: invitations, roles, and project access for verified members.
  • The web-to-desktop agent experience: persistent Codex conversations, environment handoffs, login, and recovery from interrupted connections.
  • AWS EC2 provisioning with Terraform, as a team effort.

SideQuest

A gamified travel app for iOS. Travelers complete quests, share them to a social feed, and compete on global leaderboards.

My contribution

  • Comments · Helped shape the architecture
  • Emoji reactions · Per-user map, aggregated counts
  • Podium · Top three, plus a compact variant

Swift · SwiftUI · Firebase

Pushup Pal

An iOS app that assesses exercise form. It tracks the body with computer vision, compares each movement against a reference, and returns AI-generated feedback.

My contribution

  • Swift frontend · Built every iOS screen and flow.
  • FastAPI integration · Parsed JSON responses to populate the app’s results and feedback.
  • Computer vision · Shared work on a sample dataset, pipeline architecture, and implementation.

Swift · OpenCV · MediaPipe · FastDTW · FastAPI · Gemini

Background

I study computer science at Georgia Tech. Outside class I do computer vision research, lead a team in the iOS Club, and spend weekends building at hackathons.

Mar 2026 — Now

Undergraduate Researcher, Contextual Computing Group

Advised by Thad Starner. I contributed head-camera recordings and picklist-labeled data to a 3,055-pick warehouse dataset, and co-authored work pairing CLIP embeddings with picklist-constrained optimization to recognize 120 objects at 96.9% accuracy.

Aug 2026 — Now

Senior Developer, Georgia Tech iOS Club

I set the semester roadmap and app architecture for about 20 developers, and lead an eight-person subteam building the social feed — assigning work and reviewing pull requests.

Oct 2023 — May 2024

Software Engineering Intern, Improving Atlanta

I built an event coordination app in C#, SQL, and React for team registration and challenge tracking, and turned Figma mockups into the score and leaderboard screens used at Improving’s company-wide conference.

Most at home in TypeScript, Swift, Python, and Java — React, Next.js, SwiftUI, FastAPI, Firebase, AWS.
